Light Truck Delivery Driver

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods and packages to consumers, businesses, and commercial locations.
• Operate light-duty delivery trucks with a carrying capacity of up to 3.5 tons.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated destinations.
• Load, transport, unload, and handle goods carefully to prevent damage.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report mechanical problems or maintenance needs.
• Complete and handle CMR consignment notes and other relevant delivery documentation.
• Follow assigned delivery routes, schedules, road traffic regulations, and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and supervisors.
• Report delivery issues, delays, damaged goods, or discrepancies promptly.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate in Italian and English.
• Valid driving licence appropriate for the assigned vehicle under Italian regulations.
• Ability to drive and operate light-duty trucks safely.
• Knowledge of road safety rules and delivery procedures.
• Ability to complete delivery records and handle CMR documentation.
• Good time-management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliability, honesty, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle goods safely and work effectively under delivery schedules.
• Previous experience in delivery driving or logistics is an advantage.

Benefits

• Salary: €900–€1,100 per month.
• Accommodation: Company-provided dormitory accommodation. Utilities are paid according to the applicable tariff.
• Food: One meal provided during each work shift.
• Employment Contract: One-year contract, with the possibility of extension.
• Working Schedule: 10–12 hours per day, 5.5 days per week.
• Shift Schedule: Start at 5:30 AM. Night shifts are also available.
• Travel Ticket Cost: Refundable after four months, and a return ticket is paid for at the end of the contract.
