Full Stack Developer (PHP & React)

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack features using PHP/Laravel for the backend and React with TypeScript for the frontend
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with proper request validation and error handling
• Build responsive, accessible UI components using React and Tailwind CSS
• Write comprehensive unit and feature tests for both backend and frontend code
• Optimise database queries and implement caching strategies with Redis
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Deploy and monitor applications in Docker containerised environments
• Document technical architecture and contribute to the team wiki

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework including Eloquent, Queues, and Events
• Solid experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling (Vite, ESLint, Prettier)
• Experience with relational database design, migration management, and query optimisation
• Familiarity with Docker and container-based development workflows
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows (GitFlow, pull requests)
• Knowledge of Redis for caching and queue management
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with deployment pipelines
• BSc in Computer Science or a related technical field
