Data Warehouse & Analytics Specialist

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data warehouse architectures using Kimball and Inmon methodologies
• Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple sources
• Develop dimensional data models optimised for analytical queries
• Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau
• Optimise query performance through indexing, partitioning, and materialised views
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring frameworks
• Collaborate with data scientists to ensure data availability for ML models
• Document data warehouse architecture and maintain data lineage records

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in data warehousing and business intelligence
• Strong SQL skills with experience in complex query optimisation
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery)
• Proficiency in Python for data pipeline development
• Experience with ETL tools (Apache Airflow, Talend, or Informatica)
• Deep understanding of dimensional modelling and star schema design
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) at an enterprise level
• BSc in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
